Excellent result for Newcastle that. We needed United to win and keep Sunderland down there with us. Macheda, I love him if only because he's annoying Liverpool.

United will get what they deserve in the Premier league from a couple of their remaining games, which is sweet f*** all.
Great result from us, incredible finishes from Torres AND Agger, missed the last goal as I ran across the road to play footy after the 3rd thinking that was it. Credit to Mascherano though, could have easily had a penalty and got their player sent off but he stayed on his feet and almost put the ball away, when players like Ronaldo would pull out their whole routine in that situation.

I hope the media don't w@nk themselves over that Macheda goal, a freak deflection if there ever was one.... Fat chance though

what the hell were chelsea playing at yesterday!!! 4-0 up and we go and give away 3 quick goals to set up a nervy finish. Im sure liverpool loved what they saw, because it showed just how easy it is to score when a defense goes to sleep!!
At the same time, im kinda glad it happened, hopefully now it will be out of th teams system and we wont make the same mistake against the puddle on Tuesday

I agree Baf, was a reminder that complacency will be exploited. I didn't see the game however, as I was at footy practice. I'm still feeling good about Tuesday, unfortunately I have football practice AGAIN. :/

That sucks, i am going to make sure that i have time to watch the game on Tuesday, work and studies be damned! It must have been a brilliant game to watch as a neutral, 2 first half goals and 5 second half goals!! man, i pray for games like that, its no fun when your team is involved though.

Haha Well maybe this will give inspiration to other teams that scoring at the Theatre of Screams is possible. I think now that Man U will win it for sure though :/ and it kills me saying that. If they let go of this one they are more stupid then they were before.

Great match by the Rovers today, and good on Nielsen to get his first goal for Blackburn as it was a very good header. Blackburn really delivered today and played some good attacking football but it just wasn't Wigan's day. Robbo pulled off some really awesome saves to deny them some goals.

Much needed win for us sat against a tough stoke team at the brit stadium, we are only the 4th team to win there this season. So over the moon with the result and a very unexpected win to put us in 7th and keep us in the battle for the uefa cup spot. A battling performance from us, we matched them in every way, dealt with them physically, their long throws, there set pieces Upson Tomkins Illunga and captain skippy who really has upped his game and been a crucial player for us aswell as green deserve great credit A great goal to win the game too....didn't think tristan had it in him

How did we lose that match in the firstp lace, never mind 4-1? Because Gibbs was playing Your defense was a shambles! Chelsea were clinical in attack. Pretty football doesn't always mean success AND Because Essien is a legend of a player and for that reason alone....he deserves to be on the winning team lol

Chelseas first goal...it was never a freekick... It was more than pretty football, we battered them for the first half hour or so....and even at 3-1 we looked likelier to score.....

Mmmmm 4-1 victory over Arsenal.
Helps numb the pain of our (wrongful) exit of the CL.

In a way, kind of glad we've missed out on Europe, we're really not ready for it and I can laugh at the Totts making a t** of themself while we concentrate on an even better league finish next season. Great season for us, I'm happy.

There is the Confederations Cup though. No England But Spain and the U.S. are playing! That would be hilarious...Spain v U.S. final. The U.S. would get their asses kicked so bad...I would be rooting for Espana. But the U.S. has Italy and Brazil in their group
