Here is a list of frequently asked questions we hope will help getting you started at forumforfootball, if you have any further queries regarding the usage of this site then please feel free to PM myself or another member of staff. Thank you.
How do I add a signature to my posts?
A lot of members like to add an image and/or text to the foot of each of their posts, maybe a picture of their favourite player. To do this, click on "profile" in the navigation menu, then on the following page click on the "modify profile" link which will take you to a page for all your personal preferences. If you scroll down you will find a "Signature" section, simply enter your desired text in here and then click on "modify profile" at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
How do I add an avatar to my posts?
Similar to a signature, your avatar is a small image displayed under your username next to each of your posts, this can be used for example to display the badge of your club. To edit this follow the above steps to access your modify profile page. This time scroll down to the "avatar" section, here you will see a drop down menu with a set of default avatars, you can either pick one of these or follow these steps to use your own.
For a start your going to need the URL of your desired image, for example www.example.com/myimage.jpg - a good place to get hold of images off the net is Google images. Alternatively, if you wish to use an image stored on your computer, you can upload it to a site such as Photobucket (requires registration) or Imageshack (no registration required) each of these sites will then provide you with a URL to your image. Simply insert your URL in to the "Avatar URL" field and click "modify profile" to save the changes.
How do I add images to my sig/posts

How do I make my text a clickable link?
Sometimes it's neater to use this method of posting a link to a website, say for example you wish to quote a source from where you got a news item (we ask that members quote sources when pasting in articles for sites such as sky sports and the BBC to credit the author) to do that just use the following code.
It looks something like this!

What is this karma?
The Karma system allows you thank other members for what ever reason you chose, maybe they were helpful or made a valid point you agree with, it also allows you to subtract from someone's karma if they say something you don't agree with for example. If you wish to increase their karma click on the "exalt" button in their profile, if you want to decrease their karma then click on the "smite" button.
