Team: Norwich City
Nickname:: The Canaries
Ground: Carrow Road
Capacity: 26,164
Last Season: 16th in the Championship
Manager: Peter Grant
Transfers In: Jon Otsemobor (Crewe Alexandra); Matthew Gilks (Rochdale); Jamie Cureton (Colchester United); Julien Brellier (Hearts); David Marshall (Celtic); David Strihavka (Banik Ostrava); Jimmy Smith (Chelsea); Darel Russell (Stoke City)
Transfers Out: Matthieu Louis-Jean (out of contract); Peter Thorne (Bradford City); Paul McVeigh (out of contract); Ian Henderson (Northampton Town); Andrew Fisk (out of contract); Rob Earnshaw (Derby County); Dickson Etuhu (Sunderland); Youssef Safri (Southampton)
Jamie’s Verdict: Peter Grant starts his first season in charge of the Canaries having taken charge last October. Norwich will be looking to vastly improve on the disappointment endured over the past 2 seasons, and with Grant having rung the changes at Carrow road, the fans expect an improvement. The loss of Robert Earnshaw is a huge blow to Norwich' promotion hopes, as are the losses of Etuhu and Safri - to a lesser extent. None the less, Norwich have done well to bring in some good signings, notably David Marshall and Jamie Cureton. It always takes time for a team to gel, and with only a couple of players left from the Worthington era, Norwich may find it hard to mount a serious promotion push this season but with an impressive squad on paper, they could nick a play-off place.
Key Man: Jamie Cureton & Chris Martin - could prove to be a formidable partnership with the experienced Cureton who was last season’s top scorer in the Championship, and highly rated 18 year old Martin who broke through in to the Canaries first team last season.

Dan’s Verdict: John Gregory has a task of building QPR into a force on very limited resources. A lot of the players that graced QPR over the last couple of years are now deemed surplus for the Championship. John Gregory has added a lot youthful quality to his team but whether they can get QPR a top half finish is doubtful.

George’s Verdict: Lack of effort will not be their problem, but lack of quality will be. selling good players may have cost them their chance to stay up because selling players like Billy Sharp to Sheffield united isn't really going help them score goals within is league.
Key Man: Nigel Atkins must try to help all new players he signed to settle in and forget about what they did last season and focus on staying with is league is season becuase if they get off to bad start it can really be massive stuggled for them to stay within is divison with the teams around is league these days.
Nicola Verdict: After last season's title triumph that stunned the bookies, Scunthorpe are under no illusions as to the tough campaign that lies ahead. To stay up is the goal, and that will rest on the shoulders of this very young small squad, but they're up for the fight and ready to give it their all. If they can make Glanford Park a fortress, they have more than a fighting chance of surviving. Nigel Adkins has instilled belief into his squad and the team spirit which led them to League One glory could be key.

Key Player: James Beattie
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Key Man: Chris Brunt
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This season Southampton will be aiming for promotion to the Premiership as they have signed talented striker Marek Saganowski who scored 10 goals in 13 appearances last season for The Saints. Also, the added experience of Youssef Safri should prove valuable for their quest to get to the Premiership.
Key man: Marek Saganowski - expecting high things from the lad who can score alot of goals for Southampton which he proved last season scoring 10 in 13. Now, with the chance of a full season, The Saints are hoping for a blistering season from him to help them gain promotion.

Dan’s Verdict: Hard to predict Stoke City this season. They had great fun with the loan system last season and if Pulis can get the players in again then they have another good season. Cresswell will beef up Stokes attack but it’s who Pulis replaces Hoefkens with is key to Stoke’s season.
Key Man: Richard Cresswell

Key Man: Marlon King
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Out: Tomasz Kuszczak (Manchester United) Diomansy Kamara (Fulham), Jason Koumas (Wigan), Steve Watson (Sheffield Wednesday), Paul McShane (Sunderland), Thomas Gaardsoe, Chris Perry.
Carly’s Verdict: After losing to Derby in the play-off final, its time to pick up the pieces and try and make it at the second attempt, however many key players have departed West Brom already with captain Davies and Left back Robinson also tipped to leave before the end of the window, so its going to be a tougher task for West Brom this year – each year the task of getting out of the championship seems to get harder and harder.
