Can't Delete Folder, "Destination Path Too Long" Error in Windows 7 I've seen other similar posts, but none of them provides an actual solution that has worked for this ridiculous problem I'm having. I'm simply trying to delete a folder from my backup drive in Windows 7, but Windows shows the error, "Destination Path Too Long: The file name(s) would be too long for the destination folder. You can shorten the file name and try again, or try a location that has a shorter path

Well it depends on your personal preference.
I have a genuine copy of windows 8, though I've not installed it yet. But I might go for it later with dual boot with windows 7.
I've seen windows 8, its UI is a little different in that you don't have a "Start" button, and then apps appearing as a TILES UI. In my personal opinion, windows 8 is more optimized for tablets (with touchscreen) than for desktops/laptops.
But again, it depends on your personal choice, some would even love it on desktops/laptops.
I would give it a try as well.

For the time being i'll go for Windows 7.
I do not have much experience with Windows 8 OS, but it seems attractive. Lets see how it works in the future.

Well, this debate is going on in different forums and platforms.
As far as Windows 7 is concerned, I'm currently using it and quite satisfied with it. Windows 7 proved to be a good success for microsoft as compared to its predecessor Vista.
And as far as Windows 8 is concerned, there are mixed opinions on it. Some say it is good and some find it not very good. For example I've seen some users criticizing the absence of Start button in Windows 8.
So, I personally do not have much experience with Windows 8, but I'm planning to install it in near future to review it.

I hated 8 when it was first released but I gave it another shot a couple of weeks ago and I'm very pleased i did so. While i do not really notice an fps gain it handles drops below 60 fps far better than w7. On w7 drops to 55fps were unbearable whereas 8 is silk even in the 30s and 40s. Also noticed that D3 is actually playable off of my mechanical hdd whereas on w7 i had to run it off the ssd to attain any kind of smoothness. Other than metro, which i never really see, it is an upgrade all around. No idea on emulators or injectors tho as I've never used them

I prefer windows 7 and it’s easy to use and not too complicated than windows 8.

I've tried both. Recently installed Windows 8 on my machine as well. It is good, not too bad, but still I would vote for Windows 7.
Windows 8 is getting criticism from many people.
The lack of start button is not a good idea IMO. And there are some other things which I didn't like in windows 8.
But overall, I would say windows 7 is much better.
