Crystal Palace have completed the signing of David Wright following the full-back's release by Ipswich Town.
Wright was not offered a new contract at Ipswich and has agreed a two-year deal with Palace to become manager George Burley's first signing.
The 30-year-old moved to Portman Road in January 2007 from Wigan Athletic and made almost 130 appearances for the club.
He featured 29 times last season and had expressed a desire to secure a new contract before being let go by Town boss Roy Keane.
With the Wright deal tied up, Palace chief Burley will turn his attention to securing further additions after being linked with the likes of Richard Wright and James Harper

Looks like there could be wholesale changes at palace this season. What with teh take over and admin sorted, a new manager now in and now it down to the playing side of things with Matt Lawrence, Danny Butterfield, Shaun Derry, Johnny Ertl and Clint Hill already all left the club.
