Cardiff City have denied that former owner Sam Hammam is on the verge of a return to the club.
The Lebanese businessman lost control of the Bluebirds in 2006 having taken charge of the Welsh club in 2000.
The former Wimbledon chief was reportedly due to meet Cardiff chairman Data Chan in the next few days to discuss a possible return.
However, the club insist there are no plans for Hammam to come back in any capacity.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Cardiff City confirm there are no plans to have Mr Hammam return to the club in any capacity.
"The club re-affirms its primary aim is to get the organisation back on a sensible and balanced business footing and to work through the challenges of the various debts, cashflow issues and other basic business functions."

Yeah, he said he had money which he didn't have.
Some people liked him for his ambition and knowledge of the English game and would like to see him come back aslong as he doesn't touch the finances.
I for one am glad he's not coming back, I will never forgive him.
