I'm quite looking forward to this Middlesbrough match tonight. Hoping to see Lita get into the action because I think he'll be a great signing for Southgate who really has not had a good singing when it comes to forwards really! As for the blades, well they did well last season and should be up for this game! personally I think its a good match to start the campaign off with

I always liked Chopra, good player! Newcastle played like they did last season, only one bit of prem quality and that was for the goal so I'm really not hopeful for this season. On a positive note to that though, Alan Smith, who I have expected to step up and become good at last has played excellently yesterday. Got stuck in and made a few tackles. I was pleased with him more then Nolan. I'm watching this Coventry match and they look a good squad. Coleman seems to be doing a decent job there 2-1 at the moment and I think Clinton Morrison continues to prove me right when I say he should be called up to Ireland ahead of Doyle, he had 2 great finishes today!!! So far lol Edit: I forgot to mention young Tim Krul who came on for Newcastle at half time and I think preformed brilliantly in goal. he looks a good prospect that lad! Some top class saves

Eased past Scunthorpe, looking good, Quinn the full back looks a top signing. Blackpool next week, cannot wait!

Great comeback by the looks! Shocking first half, but credit to Davey, he started a far from strongest line up and got us a point.
