You have to hand it to Roeder, not only did he completely f*** the club up internally, but he also loaned out the player (Jamie Cureton) to Barnsley who's goals effectively kept them up at Norwich' expense

So Wolverhampton and Birmingham get the automatic promotion with Sheffield, Burnley, Preston and Reading in the play offs. Would be interesting to see any of the last four to come up. I am pulling for Preston personally.

I think a shout out has to go to Cardiff who somehow managed to pull off a monumental f*** up and finish outside the play-offs on goals scored ;D they were looking good for automatic promotion a couple of weeks ago.

only us could f*** that up, we've been in the play offs virtually all seaso and we had 4 games to get one point but dave jones has yet again, YET AGAIN fucked it up. he has got a f****** LOT to answer for because this is not acceptable.
those bunch of scum that call themselves football players need to take a leaf out of roger johnsons book who despite being knocked into intensive care a few wweeks ago was tcame back and played with more determination than any of those other wankers.
at the end of the game i sat there in my seat silent and i did shed a tear.. t cardiff fans have had to put up with A LOT of s*** and b******* football over the years but this pile of s*** beats it all. disgraceful.
i knew there was a chance we could fall out of the playoffs at the beginning of the week but all i kept telling myself is that not EVEN us could f*** up what was a certainty. not EVEN us could miss out on the play offs when we were talking about automatic promorion just a matter of weeks ago. couple of months ago, david platt on sky sports news analysing the run in. he didnt even mention cardiff not getting in the play offs, his sepcific words were" sheff utd and cardiff are both assured play offs. sheff utd managed it but we never. how can a team that was like 5 points clear in the play offs with like 3 games in hand fall out well we f****** could. no other, NO OTHER team in the world would havefucked that up and jones needs to a lot of f****** explaining to us fans who have stuck by them all the way following them all around the country only for them to pull off this absolte abomination of a f*** up. if he got sacked tomorrow i'd be f****** happy cos he has made it quite clear that he cant get us promotion after he monumentally fucked up for the second time, the SECOND TIME. remember when we were top of the league at christmas, fucked it up then and fucked it up now. who else in the world would f*** up those absolute certainties.
absolutely disgraceful monstrosity

sorry I feel for you, but that was quite a rant. At least at the end of the day you finished at the right end of the table, all be it, a single goal from where you wanted to be.

Norwich, Charlton, and Southampton will be visiting Exeter next season, bloody EXETER, not a pre season friendly to get 'em a little cash, a COMPETITIVE league game, for points. Better?

No pleasing some David Marshall tells it how it is, doesn't expect any players to leave Norwich as none of the players in the squad are good enough to play in the championship after getting the club relegated

the main thing is that ninian park will never get a proper send off, everyone at ipswich home thought we'd be getting one more game but now this famous beautiful stadium, our home will never get the send off it deserves we need to get rid of so much s***. assuming that roger johnson and joe ledley go in the summer, we need two new centre backs, a goalkeeper and an entirely new midfield.

New manager maybe? Because Cardiff should've been in the play-offs at least... but yet again they fail to deliver.
We're the same, there's so much s*** and dead wood to get rid of at the club...

i wouldnt be against a new manager cos at the end of the day this is the second time he's fucked it up but jones has got a lot of support in cardiff

Would quite like Preston to come up, be a good away day out Burnley playing some good football at the moment, despise sheffield c*nting united and reading is just to me a plastic club...... Joe Ledley....really hope West Ham are in the hunt for him!!! Can't see it happening mind, haven't got the money for him plus we have a lot of midfielders (mainly youngsters at the moment mind lol.)

tbh carly, ledley is definately going in the summer, jones will let him go for anything above 5m imo but between me and you he'd flop in the premiership, you'd be better off looking elsewhere

Well apperently we made a bid in the jan window for 5 million but it was rejected (dunno if that was just speculation mind?) im fully expecting him to go to a team like stoke.
I would willing take the risk on Ledley and it fits into us bringing in younger players. We would have to clear a couple of midfielders out first, quashie, reid, bowyer, boa morte a big improvement but i would still get rid and another big must is we would have to strengh other areas first which is a must and that is a striker or two! But i don't expect us to spend much money in the summer due to the finanically uncertainly going on at the club and wouldn't be surprised to see Upson/parker depart if we don't reach the uefa cup.

i think you did have a 5m bid rejected, we've rejected 2 6m bids aswell but he's into the last year of his contract now so jones will have to sell at what's offered. wouldnt mind doing a swap deal with that kyel reid though

Reid's a good player, although he hasn't set the league alight during his stint at Wolves.... or while he was here at Barnsley.

Lets remember, when we were top of the league, we were a one man team with Michael Chopra, didn't really deserve to be there, we were always go to flop that season, everyone could see it. As for this year, no excuse. As for the finish in general, best for 40 years, good season.

we werent a one man team, theres no such thing as a one man team. we had ledley, mcnaughton, johnson, parry who was doing well then. but i agree with you that we didnt have the strength in depth to stay up there rather than we didnt deserve to be there. however other teams wouldnt have collapsed to the extent that we did.
at the end of the day, its dave jnes last chance now, if we dont at least get in the play offs this year, he should be gone
