Looking forward to the game, never mind friendly i want a win! But tbh i'm not too confident looking at the squad. Why the hell he's picked Mancienne is beyond me. Maybe nurturing him? I don't know. No Owen again And no Ferdinand, Rooney or Beckham.

Hope that we will put out our strongest side so we can see where we really are up to against a top team, I get the feeling we wont though.

Germany are just not the way they were so England should win this pretty easily

Seems to be a few players pulling out, glad Bullard's back in though!
Bet anything that Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney etc. will all play at the weekend.

Glad the manager is checking on Gerrard, personally, get too many players and club managers faking injuries to pull out of the squad.

What a surprise. Gerrards just got 'injured'.

Well there's a reason that the players would want to pull out. Friendlies are just a pointless waste of time

Was a very good asset to England not anymore, but in his day was a good player.

Good goal and performance by Upton. Usually I would be over the moon about beating the Germans but it was hard to get into the match for some reason, mainly because it was so pointless, I guess. Also what the hell was Bent doing with that open goal miss and Terry with the German goal?

Great game to watch, we controlled the first half but the second half was alot more open.
Great performance by England though, and for once there was a unity out there, and at last some consistently good play. Downing, Carrick and Johnson were awesome. Agbonlahor took to the game quite easily, and made an impact on occasions.
