Arsenal v Aston Villa- could be close, depends on which team decides to play that day, Arsenal will have confidence from Man U though Blackburn v Sunderland- I would say Blackburn over Sunderland 2-1 Bolton v Liverpool- Liverpool has only won one of five games in the last 5 meetings in the PL, and they just got knocked out of Carling Cup (ugh) but they have really pulled it together so far this year, I say Liverpool over Bolton 3-1 Fulham v Tottenham- could be close, Tottenham has been looking pretty good in the last few games, so I say Tottenham over Fulham 2-1 Man Utd v Stoke- Stoke looked like crap at the beginning of the season, and are seeming to tie the strings together, and they beat Arsenal 2 weeks back. Man U looked strong at the beginning, but following the loss to Liverpool, didn't look the same, and later they looked good again, but then lost to Arsenal. I would say a draw, but I dont know the score. Newcastle v Wigan- Newcastle has had a pretty tough start to their season I think, they have looked good for periods of time, but arent consistent in my opinion (you don't have to agree ). Wigan looked okay up to October; October was a tough month for this squad, and it hasn't seemed to get better from there. I think Newcastle over Wigan 2-0. West Brom v Chelsea-After being dominated by Liverpool, Man U, and Hull earlier this season, they now face a wounded, but still strong Chelsea squad but whom have also just been knocked out of Carling Cup. I think that Mowbray will be just trying to fend off the first goal for a while, but I say Chelsea over West Brom 3-0. West Ham v Portsmouth- West Ham also did not have a great October, and November isnt looking good so far either. Portsmouth is dangerous with Crouch who can reach almost every ball with his stature they have looked pretty mediocre though. And I definitely can't take my eyes off the 6-0 thrashing from Man City.. I say Portsmouth over West Ham 2-1, or a 2-2 draw. Everton v Middlesbrough- Everton has looked mediocre this season as well, but have looked fairly good following their draw to Man U. Middlesbrough has looked okay other than the 5-0 thrashing delivered by Chelsea. I say Everton draws Middlesbrough 1-1 And finally, Hull v Man City- Hull has looked fairly strong other than at the beginning of the season. They sure gave Man U a run for their money! Man City started well after their opening game, but then Wigan had to come and ruin the fun. Since then, City has looked rocky and can't seem to string together plays consistently (thank God Robinho isn't here or else I wouldn't have been able to say this... :-P) 1-0 Hull. Wow, this is officially the longest post I have ever written.... Enjoy

Wow holy s*** that is long... Yeah it is! Alright, onto the Nick predictions... Gunners v Villa: Gunners coming off of a good win over a strong Man Utd side, if Villa shows up to play they could cause problems though. 2-0 to Arsenal. Blackburn v Sunderland: Can't see Blackburn winning without Santa Cruz or McCarthy (although I'm not sure if neither will play). 2-0 to the Black Cats. Bolton v Liverpool: Bolton had an excellent showing against Arsenal in October, but that form has deserted them. Although Liverpool are out of the Carling, I can't see anything but a 3-0 win for them. Fulham v Spurs: Fulham played an excellent match against Newcastle (and a poor challenge helped them gain 3 points) but the Spurs are hot under Redknapp...or could Fulham end the honeymoon? I think no, 2-1 Spurs. Man Utd v Stoke: Stoke play tough football, but Man Utd can match them easily. 3-0 Red Devils. Newcastle v Wigan: Like Torres said, Wigan were red hot earlier this season, but have cooled off. Newcastle are on the climb and should have taken a point from a match against an okay Fulham side but were denied anything courtesy of a late penatly. However, Ameobi is back on form and Newcastle have played some good football. Newcastle 1-0. West Brom v Chelsea: After being knocked out of the Carling and with injury problems, some may argue the Blues will flatline. I however, do not. West Brom will be overpowered by Chelsea. 2-0 to the Blues. West Ham v Pompey: West Ham have been poor as of late as Pompey pulled off a good win on the weekend. 1-0 to Pompey. Everton v 'Boro: 'Boro, after a strong start, have settled midtable and pose a threat to a recently in-form Everton side. Everton have some real weapons in midfield and a good goalkeeper. 1-1. Hull City v Man City: Neither team has been great lately, and Robinho rather ineffective. Hull didn't get to their league position on luck alone. Geovanni is one of those players who can change the face of a game. 1-0 to Hull.

We're not looking too good at the moment but the last two games have been better even if we only got a point out of them,. Also we are at home and despite Pompey winning last week they look doomed with Adams in charge. I think we will scrape this one, 2-1.

West Brom will probably be ripped to shreds by Chelsea's attack. Especially when Liverpool just walked through them last time out.
Go on Newcastle! Bounce back from the Fulham defeat

Oh well, 0-0, at least we kept a clean sheet and got a point, we're getting worryingly close to the bottom 3 though. Lmfao at Spurs though, one off bottom after losing to Fulham.

Although we won, it's very worrying the number of chances we missed - Keane, Gerrard, Torres, and Lucas all missed absolute sitters, Torres' one was the only one you could say he had all the hard work to do, the other 3 were on a plate and as good as open goals. Really should have been at least 3 more but I guess a wins a win.

3-0 to Chelsea. Bosingwa's opener was f****** class! Anelka had 2 excellent finishes and he's on hot form now.

Really should have been at least 3 more but I guess a wins a win. I thought that in the second half ye completely took the foot of the pedal and were made look very lack-luster by Bolton who came out all guns blazing which they should have done from the start. Gardener played well and had a big impact after coming on, could easily have scored too! Torres' assit was simply top quality and deserved a goal though I was disappointed by Andy O'Brien's very poor defending for that goal. He had three attemps to stop Torres and failed each time All in all though it was a good result for Liverpool in a good game, nice to watch. Newcastle let me down today. Had some great chances and then let the win slip away at the death which just shouldn't happen. I'm really liking the Martins-Ameobi partnership cause I think it's proving to be very productive for the team. Martins goal and Ameobi's shot led to Owen's goal. Still, I suppose a point gained from a losing position is better than no point gained at all so i'm going to view this result with that positive approach

Gardners first attempt was hilarious buggered over just as he caught site of the open goal. I remember when a few Championship clubs were linked with Ameobi in the summer and basically all Newcastle fans ridiculed him even for Championship level, he coming good now?

liverpool deserve credit because in the last few seasons by now they would be about 5th or 6th, but now they have torres back and if benetez plays same 11 most weeks they can maintain a challenge this season

Good point, I really don't think it's a coincidence that we're doing so much better now that Rafa has stopped rotating all the time, we saw what happened in the week against Spurs when he changed the team around and we were awful.

i think use have a strong 14 or so but not 18/20 like chelsea and man u thats why he must play strongest team in league if fit ,man u havent been great so far but we all no they will come good at some point and still they sit in 3rd place , chelsea this season look strong even without drogba who i do rate , they are scoring and looking a lot better to watch without him and the holding midfielders like esien an makalele who played all the games between them last season, if liverpool stay fit and can make at least 1 more top signing in january i can see them taking the title fight all the way

Haha, in Sacramento right now, so I didnt get to see the second half of the Liverpool game, but saw Keane's chance; it looked like he was trying to flick it or something, but no excuses on that one!

Gardners first attempt was hilarious buggered over just as he caught site of the open goal. I remember when a few Championship clubs were linked with Ameobi in the summer and basically all Newcastle fans ridiculed him even for Championship level, he coming good now? Gardner's open goal miss was due to a slip in which his legs buckled beneth him on a slippy part of the pitch actually Yeah I know that a lot of people were all for getting Ameobi out of the club fast. I always liked him as a player. Alright, he's not Torres or Anelka but he does get a few goals to help the cause. He's a good player and just never gets a chance to show that. now he's getting that chance. He played really well for Roeder when he was in charge and Martins was bought to play alongside him not to replace him. Where would we be now without him. probably in last place cause we wouldn't have had any strikers fit
