Bout time we win again but I sadly think a draw is the best we're going to get.

What a game from Arsenal and United. Really entertaining stuff with lots of chances. Bendtner is not a good striker imo because he was very wasteful up front today for Arsenal but the rest of the team looked determined and driven to win the game. United will be disappointed and I think Rooney missed a few great chances today but a great consolation goal from Raphael....great volley, pure class!
I'm going to watch the West Ham v's Everton game next and I'm supporting West Ham for it! Hope they don't let me down

Where did the six mins come from? ? Ref trying to screw Arsenal again! Well good result considering RVP, Ade, Eboue were out and Sil, Gall and Sag all still have injuries!! Well done Arsenal...shame about the two 'blatent' pens Arsenal were denied!

awfuk result for us ok we played well but performances meen f*ck all if you can't defend or score goals that's now 6 defeats in 8 games since zola took over i'm not panicking yet but just very worried if things have not improved by the end of the christmas period then i think we might just be getting nearer to hitting the panic button

Zola is too nice for his own good, the West Ham players need a big kick up the a*** right now and he hasn't got the bottle in him to do it, the sooner we're rid of him the better, Curbs should have never been undermined, we were doing quite well with him.

The Sunderland - Pompey game had an exciting finish today. Thanks to Diouf's stupid challenge on Johnson inside the box, he gifted Pompey a penalty which they converted.
Arsenal managed to hold onto their lead and West Ham couldn't.

At the end of the day, if you try to beat Arsenal at their own game, hence attacking football...you will lose.

Okay back Keane played phenomenally! He was making brilliant through balls left and right, had a few nifty heel passes, and definitely had an eye for the goal today. Glad Fernando is back though its going to take some time to adjust again after being out a for 6 games. I wish I could say the same for Gerrard what I said for Keane, but I cannot. He didn't look to be quite right today. But a nice three points for us! YNWA!

Wow, crazy last few mins for West Ham but a fantastic game for Saha. I mean he wasn't in the game at all before he set up the first goal, it looked like West Ham would just hold out the game and get the points but I have to say I was impressed with the former united striker. Some quality there, very strong finishes. Bit disappointed because I thought that West ham would get the win but that's the beauty of football, the unpredicability, makes everything more exciting.
Now Newcastle have to win ;D

Great win for Arsenal, United's defence looked all over the place, some poor decisions regarding movement etc. Great comeback from Everton, can't believe Peter's calling for Zola's head already

So glad to see Keane finally get that PL monkey off his back, 2 very well taken goals from him, looked more like a player who has been scoring goals for fun rather than one who had yet to score in the league. Great finish by Arbeloa too.

Good solid performance by the boys in blue to put us back on top of the log. Anelka got another 2 goals, so he is the leagues top scorer now. good weekend for us. Next up, burnley.

It takes more than spending millions on a couple of players to drastically change a team, it takes time and also the buying of the right players to gel together

yeah, you have to give it time. The manager and the players all need to find their feet. Im sure when the transfer market opens more high quality players will come in and city's fortunes will start to turn around. However, i dont see them pushing anybody for anything this season. Maybe next season

I'm very disappointed by the Newcastle result. That was a game I really felt that we had a good chance of winning. The mistakes today were unforgivable and this was proven in the fact that they led to goals. Cacapa was especially poor, really, he should have just let the ball run out of play. I suppose he's not exactly match sharp since he hasn't been playing at all.
I actually thought that we were playing well for good spells in the game. On an overlook of the game Fulham owned the first half and deserved their lead but I felt that Newcastle really raised their game and really deserved to snatch a point. Not to take away from a very good victory for Fulham, they defended well and attacked well, especially in the first half. They should be very pleased with the win!
One real positive I am going to take from the game is Newcastle's continued resistance or refusal to give up. Today again they came out and battled back from a goal down to level it up. We used not to do that. true enough they gave away another but the fact the tried really shows increased spirit in the camp.

What do you think of Joe Kinnear's impact at Newcastle Niall? I've been really inpressed with him thus far. Show's like he really wants to drag the club forward and very professional about it well he lost a bit of professionalism with that interview where he was swearing all the time. However I did find that rather funny ;D He's really steadied the ship as far as the club are concerned. We've started to get wins again which was vitally improtant and he's willing to give Ameobi a try which I think is good because asides from Martins all we really have is two continuously injured strikers in Owen and Viduka. I really think that Ameobi has risen to the challange as well. Kinnear is impressing me more and more because he's giving the team both structure and belief which is what we needed after that crisis spell. The team always seem to preform a lot better after his half time team talk which is helping us tobe a better team I think! He's exactly what we need right now is what I think

I watched a bit of Chelsea vs Blackburn, that ended up being a easy win for the the blues, I honestly think they could win it this season.

RobinhoTheGod, new name Hughes for the sack?
Are you joking? Thats a pathetic statement, the seasons still early and you've got loads to spend in January where Hughes will strenghthen wisely. He is a top manager and if City are capable of breaking into the top four or achieving a high finish, he is the man to do it. Sven didn't deserve to get sacked when he did and certainly Hughes doesn't..christ.

Newcastle were unlucky there, well not unlucky, but a boneheaded foul gave away the penalty. Ameobi looked good though, caused some havoc.
