Liverpool 2 Brown (og), Babel Man. United 1 Tevez
Excellent win today. I know we were lucky to get the 1st goal (our 1st goal, that is, obviously) since Van Der Sar hardly makes those kind of mistakes but I think we were the better team for at least 70 mintues of the game.
If you took Tevez out of that team today I honestly think they'd have had no chance at all.
I was happy with Riera. Great debut and I especially like the way he isn't scared to take people on. Now I just hope we can keep this up and get better as the season progresses.

haha, absolutely wiped the floor with them I guess thats nothing unusual but we made it count today by actually winning. Great debut for Riera, looks a very promising player. So much for us being a two man team certainly didn't need Torres or Gerrard today, Mancs are s*** without Ronaldo though.

:::Liverpool::: :::vs::: :::Man United::: Brilliant ! This time we actually have got what we deserved in this fixture. Last two seasons saw us play better and lose but not today. What's even sweeter is that we're the first team to beat United this season and in doing so going top of the table. I was impressed with Riera too. His work rate was bang on and he's giving us that width we needed. First half was really entertaining and the score at that stage was fair. Second half we made them look average and really should have won by a bigger margin. Where did Webb get all that time added on from? I had to check it wasn't at Old Trafford for a moment ;D. I was really impressed with Kuyt today. I've been getting a bit frustrated with him a fair bit but today he proved he can be a great player. United still in bottom half of the league Niiiiiiicceeee

Well done Pool, they should sign Wes Brown as their new sriker Good win for us as well, great stuff from Theo for the first goal, could/should have had a second, Van Persie looked sharp, thought he was MOTM despite Ade's hat-trick, that bloke really needs to get to grips with the offside law And chelsea on course to beat City 3-1 at the moment.

Yeah fantastic result for Arsenal. It's difficult enough to go to Blackburn and get a result but to win 0-4 is very impressive. Be nice to see Liverpool and Arsenal scrapping it out next May for a change. Can't wait to watch our game again and the others on MOTD tonight.

f*** you Robinho.
You play for a s*** team.
Did well to beat City 3-1 and Terry's sending off was a bit harsh, and no penalty call? lol

Yeah, Fagan has a broken leg apparently...
Not exactly the start that the 'new' Man City were hoping for. Its not all that surprising though, they bought one or two players but havent had the chance to really spend their money yet. Nice to see anelka getting on the score sheet.

Good confidence builder, nice cool finish. He seems to play better with a strike partner.

He is brilliant when he has confidence, he is a moody player, not in terms of his attitude, but more in terms of feeling wanted and doing well. When he does well he does really well. Hopefully he gets a good run together now
