so often in international games we come to the penalty shoot out and theres always some poor guy who takes the blame and everyone will remember that forever Thats why so many players are scared to take part
My solution Change the rules so that all 10 players have to take a penalty That way 3 or 4 players will have missed so the blame is not put on the head of one guy
At the end of those 20 penalties the score will be 7 to 6 or something and the winner takes it all
that way there won t be victims ... like John Terry last season !

Football can be a cruel game and there is no ideal solution to resolving stalemates, I think the current way is as fair as it's going to go. Even if you make the penalty shootout like this, it's still cruel. Just be thankful it's better than all the endless replays and even coin tosses of yesteryear. As for John Terry, he has no sympathy from me, he was a dirty little s*** during the match and I like to think of it as karma.

Nah, it's always good to have a laugh at somebody. Especially as they always seem to be English.

Yeah, 20 penelties? What if its a draw? Would it got to Sudden death? Not a bad Idea but I cant see this happening ever.

i think 20 penalties might also take some of the excitement away.
