Yeah, 0-0 is a good result at the Lane, although Bothroyd fluffed a great chance!

Just got back now, spent the weekend in Preston after going to see the City play away to Sheffield United. Unbelievable result for us, defended brilliantly and it's not often i give praise to Darren Purse, but he had a bloody good game. Great to see McNaughton back at full back and Ledley did alright playing in the middle, strikers is where the problem is though. We still have nobody who can hold a ball up, Bothroyd embarrased himself on Saturday, won about two headers throughout the match, gave the ball away, had sloppy touches and went off for a bout ten minutes throughout the game with numberous encounters. Only good chance we had of the game he hit it straight at the keeper. Eddie Johnson came on, did nothing, doesn't look the answer. If it wasn't for our defence we would of been murdered, can't see where the goals will come from.
Sheffield fans aswell smashed up our coaches after the game, but the City boys got off and chased them away haha, wasn't the nicest of areas if i'm honest. Still, good game, cracking atmosphere (as you expect with city fans) and well pleased with the point.

It seems the hooligan element of football is making a way back this year, theres already been trouble at Merthyr and Ajax (pre season), Southampton home and Sheff away now. Not good considering we have no drawn Swansea away in the league cup, and is to be kicked off at 7:45pm midweek.

very impressive win by Reading last night beating sheff wed 6-0, quite supprising to considering how well Sheff Wed have started this season.

Some fans calling for Davey's head.....Large sections of the crowd in fact!
It was a poor performance though, Davey must get it right against Saints or he's under massive pressure
