Cant say I'm very optamistic about the Blackburn match, the way things have been going.

Not really sure what to expect with the Arsenal game, but it should be good. Im going to have to go for a narrow arsenal win, but mabye 2-0.

West Brom face their old manager at Bolton, and truthfully I don't think we can win this one.

I am actually really optimistic about Newcastle chances tonight. We're defending better and the midfield looks stronger with our new Argentinian. I could see us managing to claim a point of Arsenal or at least make them work hard for the win. A good prefomance by Newcastle at the very least. I'm saying Draw

Gutted, completely and utterly gutted about the game. Newcastle had lost it from the kickoff. the mentality was all wrong, they were sluggish and lazy. Desperate attempts to slow the game down and stop Arsenal passing just meant that they dallied on the ball for too long and lost posession anyways. The fowards had nothing to feed off what-so-ever and although we conceided 3 goals I have to say the defence was decent for much of the game. Except of corse the set peices where defending was non-existant!
I have to say I was suprised to see Ameobi starting today as I thought that they would play a 4-5-1 with Owen up front playing on his own and the re-introduction of Barton into the midfield. As it was he was terrible, lack of match fitness is one thing but he was just plain lazy today and it was obvious to everyone.
I really thought that if newcastle ever had a chance to beat Arsenal it would be today...straight off their loss to Fulham they could either be motivated to win or mentally unsure, unfortunately it was Newcastle that failed the mental test

Delighted with our show, could and should have been more than 3, and what a signing Nasri's turning out to be, was my man of the match despite not scoring. Good response to the Fulham reverse.

Fully expected this loss. N'zogbia is awful these days but we had no choice without duff, and now sadly milner. And as for ameobi, i hope that useless piece of crap never wears a newcastle top again, hes not even championship standard, truely truely awful.
New players are needed tomorrow badly

what a krok of s***...no ways should we have lost to spurs. We were by far the better team, in the first half anyway. The second half was like a funeral.

dissapointing start for Zola, it seems the West Ham of old our back a mixture of entertaining football and crap defending I just hope zola can install in us some ot that italian mentality to defending.
