The forum ranking system has been changed a little, so to prevent any confusion here is a quick explanation of how it works:
There are still the same rank levels; grass roots, junior player, youth academy etc however, you now have to earn 3 bars to go up a level. There are also 3 main stages now, green bars, silver bars, and gold bars.
Each rank consists of 3 bars, your bars light up as your post count increases. The first 3 bars are grass roots rank for example, when you achieve the 4th green bar you move up to Junior player rank and so on. When you have collected all 9 green bars you move up to the second level and start with 1 silver bar, likewise, when you have collected all 9 silver bars you move up to the 3rd level and start with 1 gold bar, with your rank going up (grass roots - junior player - youth academy - young pro etc) after you achieve each group of 3 bars.
I hope that wasn't too confusing, as I think it's better not to state exactly how many posts are required to light up each bar
the new system is to accommodate for the fact we now have a number of very high posting members, so each bar doesn't take so long to get any more.

Just to clarify, the rank images have been updated but it's all still exactly the same, only the level 1 ranks are now blue rather than green.
