 , give Dyer a start next time, he showed his class as soon as he came on, J Cole played well but i thought he was a bit greedy sometimes when there was a better option on

Yeh I think Cole felt like he had a point to prove after not playing so well for England in his career...but that meant he was being greedy. I felt Lampard was the same at times. Instead of passing, he'd try and shoot when there were 10 players between him and the goal. I don't think Dyer looked too special and Gerrard had a bit of a lousy game. Terry as reliable as ever. And Rooney? Well he was spot on today. Shame that header didn't go in.

I know I'm biased but I thought the Chelsea boys did good! So pleased for Joey Cole - he knew the pressure was on him to perform and I think he was great. Sven seemed very pleased with him in the interview after! ;D Rooney also had a good game but jury's out on Owen.............

Typical united supporter having a pointless go at the two chelsea lads, i thought they were both excellent today and got in decent positions to shoot on a number of occasions Rooney does the same and some went well wide but you allow him to do it because you know there good enough to hit a couple spot on.
I like to players try and force the issue and they probed all game which is more than beckham and gerrard did, both off the pace today.
Special mention to Dyer never really rated him myself but he did more in 15mins than beckham did all game.

Yeh typical United fan, when a Newcaste fan and West Ham fan said the same Kindof like how you're a typical non-United fan...make any excuse to have a pop at United and their fans:) As I say, Cole did have a good game...but he was greedy. It's not just me, the United fan, who is saying that is it.

Exactly as the topic says well done England, they deserved the win today, maybe a couple more goals would have been a more realistic score line. Though let’s not be greedy eh. Oh and one final comment, I thought Rooney deserved a goal.

Well I have to admit I was practically pissing myself laughing when the third goal went in, what a farce of a game. England were very good but that ten minute spell by N.Ire at the start of the second half was, for me, the worst display of defending ever. Absolute pants. N.Ire and Wales both came to Old Trafford and got exactly what they deserved - nothing. Id like to see a team actually try and take on England some time soon, someone told me Robinson was playing yesterday but I'll be damned if i ever saw him.

We say gerrard had a quiet game, well he did by his liverpool standards but having watched the games highlights it occured to me that he was doing Good defensive work and if you look he was collecting the lose ball and passing it on to other players.

Ok well done England but I think people are going a bit over the top we played N.Ireland not France, Brazil, Germany or Portugal it was like Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea playing a league 1 side.
