as for the other stuff:
leeds, fierce rivalry, violence, not wanting them to be promoted etc...draws crowds. I had to get a train from wakefield to leeds, and then to huddersfield to meet my dad cos he works in manchester. possible 500 leeds fans on the train, i was...scared. had a huge coat on to hide my town shirt. then to get past police at station, i had to say i wasnt going to the match.
i would love to see a video of the leeds fan in the 'violent' section of the ground getting beaten up when he showed his true colours. the police stood back and let them have him.
as for the match, i just find it funny that we still won even though ken bates obviously had the ref on his payroll in the club with a huge squad and 'no money' they better not get their points back.

I think that Brighton are getting very close the the play-off picture. Maybe if we keep going, get better players. And try and get more confident, and to get more confident it, Falmar will be useful to get back in the 2nd Divsion in the league Stretch. But Judgeing by what happend 2 years ago, im starting to think that maybe the championship is a to good league. It could be like my Cricket club, we are brilliant in the second division, but when we go up, we always get relegated. I think that Brighton are much better than Leeds, or Walsall. Its really those 3 who were fighting for 6th place this season. But we didnt get it.

Just a matter of a few years ago, they were in the champions league, aswell as the Uefa cup, don't class that as successful? No? They won the first division league a few times, runners up numerous times, also won the fa cup, league cup, chairty shield, fairs cup (which is now called uefa cup). Thats without the amount of finals that they have been in.. If you don't call that a pretty succesful, then sorry but your hatred of Leeds over-rides everything and makes you pretty deluded! wrong- the fairs cup is not considered a european honour. leeds have no european success. FACT ok, lets compare. leeds have won division one 3 times, the fa cup once and the league cup. hardly as massively different as you want to make out. the fact that udders won the title three times in a row, and have done it as many times in less attempts could lead many to consider them the more succesful
