Do you think 16 year old children should be allowed to wear make-up? My 16 year old sister wants to be allowed to wear make-up to college but my mum refused because she is still and child and my mum doesn't want her bothering about the way she looks.
What does everyone else think? Should a 16 year old be allowed to wear make-up?

I wear makeup and fake tan ;D Don't see the problem at 16 really, if your legal enough to have sex then your legal enough to make yourself look a sex object  |

I wear make up and I am 14. I wear it to enhance my looks though, not to make me a whole different face like some girls do...

It bothers me when makeup is over done, and there's literally a line where the cover-up ends and the real skin tone begins. A bit of make up is fine, just don't paint a portrait on your face.  |

I only wear eye liner eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lipgloss. I have never worn foundation, cover up, fake tan, bronzer etc.

PMSL ffs, men wearing make up I've only ever wore make up once and that was when I was going out I'd had a heavy one the night before I was so heavily sick I burst a load of blood vessels around my eyes so looked half dead s*** eh Jimmy? That sucks. When I broke my nose in May I got yellow under my eyes and around my nose, thankfully I didn't bruise badly. If I did, I may have considered make up... and then thought the better of it. |

Provided you don't then let anyone take photos of you looking like a sex object, of course, at 16 they can f*** you but not take a picture...makes sense |

I'm 16 and every girl in my college wears make-up. Nothing wrong with it IMO.
